Hero MotoCorp Ltd, the world’s largest two- wheeler manufacturer, today launched here yet another bike, christened ‘ Ignitor’, its latest product for the Indian market, which was showcased at the Indian Auto Expo 2012 in the month of January.
The newly refreshed ‘ Ignitor’, which is a 125 cc bike, includes exciting new features which would add to both the riding experience as also the muscularity of the product. It is the third two- wheeler launched under brand Hero after Impulse and Maestro ( scooter).
“ The Ignitor is powered by a 125 cc engine which is mated to a five- speed manual transmission gearbox.
The vehicle produces peak power of 11 BHP at 8,000 RPM,” said N Balasubramanium, zonal head ( East), Hero MotoCorp.
The Ignitor will target the young population who need additional bit of styling and looks. The bike is currently available in two variants and 4 colours, he added.
