Sweet double for Shyam Shankar
Shyam Shankar of Moto-Rev India scored a double victory in the opening round of the FMSCI-MMSC-Sidvin Motorcyle championship at the Kari Motor Speedway on Sunday.
The 28-year-old professional bike racer from Chennai, who won the opening race on Saturday, enjoyed an early lead and capitalised on it to score a sweet double in the Group C 165cc open class.
Shyam also came on top in the one-make championship winning both the races in the Yamaha YZF R15 class.
